Ryan Fischer, the man who was shot in the chest during the abduction of Lady Gaga’s dogs last week, has spoken about the terrifying incident for the first time.

In security camera footage that was released, you can hear Fischer screaming and crying out for help when he was shot and robbed of two out of three of Gaga’s dogs which he was walking in Hollywood last Wednesday night.

Ryan has credited one of the singers’ French Bulldogs as his “guardian angel.” Asia, one of Gaga’s pooches, ran away during the incident and returned to Ryan when he was bleeding out laid on the ground.

In an emotional Instagram update which he posted yesterday, he wrote, "My panicked screams calmed as I looked at her (Asia), even though it registered that the blood pooling around her tiny body was my own.”

He continued, "I cradled Asia as best I could, thanked her for all the incredible adventures we'd been on together, apologised that I couldn't defend her brothers, and then resolved that I would still try to save them… and myself.”

Mr Fischer also tagged Lady Gaga in his Instagram post saying, "your support as a friend, despite your own traumatic loss from your kids, was unwavering.” "Your babies are back and the family is whole… we did it!"

Ryan Fischer is expected to make a full recovery.
