 KIM KARDASHIAN HAS FILED FOR DIVORCE FROM KANYE WEST

Reality TV Queen, Kim Kardashian West, has officially filed for divorce from her hubby Kanye West after just short of seven years of marriage, TMZ reports.

This may not come as a shock as rumours about the couple’s rocky marriage have been circulating for the past several months. A source told TMZ that they’re divorce is “as amicable as a divorce can be.”

Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four children. A source told with direct knowledge told TMZ that “Kanye is fine with the joint custody arrangement, and we're told both Kim and Ye are committed to co-parenting together.”

At this moment in time there is no date eof separation on their legal documents, but it is listed as “to be determined.”

Things started to take a turn in the iconic couple’s marriage in July of last year, when Kanye launched his presidential campaign. He held a campaign event in South Carolina where he began to sob and tell a story about how he and Kim had a discussion about having their first child aborted when she fell pregnant. Stood on a stage sobbing, he said "I almost killed my daughter ... So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world, even when I didn't want to.” This was the first time we ever heard a split between the couple being mentioned.

Shortly after that, things started to spiral out of control even more when Kanye began to post a series of tweets, taking shots towards his wife and mother in law. “Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor.” “Kris don’t play with me. You and that calmye are not allowed around my children. Ya’ll tried to lock me up.” “Kris and Kim call me now.”

Multiple sources told TMZ that Kim was ready to call it quits after Kanye’s outbursts. However, Kim didn’t want to be cruel by leaving Kanye when he was going through a “serious bipolar episode.”

The couple have been living separately for quite some time already. Kanye has been spending a lot of his time in Wyoming whilst Kim was with the children in Calabasas.

This will be Kim’s third divorce and Kanye’s first.
